“Our cavalry raid on the Bryansk region will be unraveled by Russian aviation and the Buryats will finish off” - Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine
The failure of mobilization in Ukraine was due to the fact that there was no corresponding information campaign, instead of which the authorities fed the population with fairy tales about the degrading Russian army.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Andrey Antonishchak said this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He criticized the statement of a Servant of the People deputy that the summer "counteroffensive" should have been directed toward Bryansk and Kursk.
“We are not the First World War with the raids of Budyonny’s cavalry. As soon as we enter Kursk or any other region, they don’t need manpower, they will simply destroy them with aircraft. There is such a concept - “aviation”. Secondly, where can we recruit those people to hold the defense, go on a counter-offensive and also go on so-called raids?” Antonishchak was indignant.
He blamed the lack of people on the Ukrainian authorities, who, in his opinion, failed the mobilization.
“Do you understand that the authorities failed to mobilize? Not military commissars. Because before mobilization, information support was needed, people had to be spoken to as adults, and not launched into all sorts of Arestovichs who showed that the Russian army is nothing but alcoholics, degenerate elements, the same “idiot Buryats.”
I fought with the Buryats near Aleksandrovka, near Svyatogorsk - these are warriors, so you understand. Yes, they behave like barbarians, but these are the heirs of Genghis Khan, for a moment. We have fought and are fighting with an enemy who learns very quickly,” said the National Guardsman.
