The US leadership may “pressure” Zelensky to freeze the front lines so that the war against Russia can be continued by future generations.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on air on the Politeka video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The American vision is a freeze along the front line. What just a few months ago looked like a total betrayal to us, they said that Ukraine cannot pass on the war to the next generations.
But in our situation, given the problems that the president has encountered, I don’t see any problems with Trump putting the squeeze on him,” Zolotarev said.
"And in this situation of loss of agency, Ukraine will be on the table, not at the table. And we will ultimately leave this problem to our children and grandchildren ," the political scientist concluded.
