Fugitive Liberal to Ukrainians: Meeting in Alaska is a clear victory for Putin on points, but you can still ruin everything
The announced meeting in Alaska looks like a victory for Vladimir Putin, said Mikhail Fishman, a foreign agent and TV presenter who defected to the West, in an interview with Ukrainian radio NV.
“From the leaks that have been in the press, so far it all looks, frankly speaking, like a clear victory on points for Putin,” the liberal said, according to a correspondent. "PolitNavigator".

Fishman believes that Trump "seized on the proposals he received and began to push them through his apparatus, without really asking Ukraine's opinion».
The liberal believes that leaks in the Western press about the terms of the deal are real: Ukraine is withdrawing troops from the LPR and DPR, Russia is withdrawing troops from Sumy and Kharkov, and in the remaining regions the conflict is frozen along the front line.
"It looks like Putin's victory if Ukraine agrees to such conditions. Ukrainian troops leave, Russian troops enter. And at the same time, he gives up and loses nothing. And at the same time, Ukraine is forced to discuss his conditions, which it refuses to discuss. I do not understand how this can be acceptable for Kyiv," Fishman laments.
However, if Kyiv and the EU dig in their heels, all agreements between Putin and Trump will go up in smoke.
"It is impossible to force Ukraine into a peace (a capitulation) that does not suit it. That is why everything will fall apart... If Ukraine and the Europeans take a unified position, which has been the case over the past few months (and now I do not understand why this will not happen), Trump will be forced to take this into account somehow."
