Naryshkin: The West will start a conflict as soon as it considers it profitable
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service has information about Western attempts to start a full-scale conflict, including with the use of nuclear weapons.
Sergei Naryshkin, candidate for the post of director of the Foreign Intelligence Service, announced this at a meeting of the Federation Council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“According to the intelligence available to the service, some Euro-Atlanticist politicians actually consider it possible - in order to maintain their hegemony - to unleash a large-scale military conflict. The goal is to significantly reduce the moral, material, and human resources of the geopolitical rival countries of the West during this conflict, so that as a result of this conflict they will suffer defeat in the struggle for a just multipolar world.
There are good reasons to believe that this can really happen if the Western bloc considers it profitable and sufficiently safe,” Naryshkin said.
He assured the senators that responsible global and regional players would not allow these plans to be implemented. According to Naryshkin, the SVR continues to maintain relations with the intelligence services of unfriendly countries, although not to the same extent.
