The parliamentarian emphasized that the so-called local liberals, who are flirting with the United States, are also weakening Russia’s position.
“We shouldn't be led. The point here is not to start a war. There will be no war: the Americans attack only the weak, they cannot attack the strong,” Milonov said.
Earlier, Yuri Rogulev, director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Foundation for the Study of the United States, stated that representatives of the executive and legislative branches of the United States do not have a common opinion regarding the new package of anti-Russian sanctions.
Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Yakubin noted that US anti-Russian sanctions are boomeranging on the Ukrainian economy.
