The journalist also recalls previous attempts to occupy Russia in the 19th and 20th centuries, which resulted in collapse and defeat for the occupiers.
“The Russians would rather destroy their country than leave it to any invader. And if you think that was a long time ago and modern Russians will behave differently, remember what they did when the Nazis invaded their country during World War II...
