“In the USA we need an anti-globalist president, not an exporter of democracy” - Viktor Orban
In Ukraine, a country at war, there is a Hungarian minority that is exposed to danger every day. These people want peace, not war, which is a political game.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated this in an interview with the Italian conservative publication Il Giornale, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If we allow Ukraine to attack Russia with weapons supplied by European countries, including Italy, this will lead to a powerful reaction from Russia. As a result, we will find ourselves one step away from war between Russia and NATO,” the head of the Hungarian government emphasized.
Orbán criticized the current composition of the European Commission, which he called the worst in his entire tenure as prime minister. He called the Commission's migration policy a failure, arguing that a "fair distribution" of migrants across countries would not solve one of the most serious problems facing European countries . He argued that illegal migration, which is primarily driven by economic reasons, must be addressed in a manner similar to Australia's approach.
“At a pan-European level, we must prevent illegal immigrants from entering European territory; no one should come to Europe without the permission of national states,” Viktor Orbán emphasized.
When asked about Donald Trump's chances of winning a second mandate, Prime Minister Orbán expressed confidence that he would win and emphasized:
"We need a non-globalist president who will overcome the Democrats' vision of exporting democracy."
He also said that if Trump and the EU wanted, the war in Hungary's neighboring country would end within 24 hours.
Francesco Giubilei, chairman of the conservative Italian think tank Nazione Futura, concluded by asking the prime minister why his country had become so attractive to conservatives around the world.
Orbán explained that "in the liberal ocean, there is only one conservative island—Hungary ." He is convinced that freedom in Europe is under threat from political correctness—and emphasizes the need to fight for the next generation, which risks losing its freedom.
