"Trump is a continuation of the construction of the American empire on the basis of a unipolar world, the conflict in Europe is their agenda. It is no coincidence that Lavrov said yesterday that an exchange of blows in Europe is categorically unacceptable to us.
That’s right, because this is the American agenda – to start a war in Europe, as during the First and Second World Wars, and on this basis to escape from the conflict and be the arbiter and the winner in the conflict as a whole – both over Russia and over Europe.
Therefore, Trump's arrival is a sharp deterioration of our geopolitical positions. And we can compare his election program with "Mein Kampf". Because America must become great - America cannot be great if there is another state in the world that can destroy it in two hours.
Another thing is that Trump has different methods – soft, diplomatic, the “anaconda ring”, we see this now in Syria, in the approach to sanctions – all this will escalate,” said Fedorov.
He added that “Lavrov said for the first time yesterday that we are fighting a hybrid war with America – before that we were fighting with Ukraine.”
