We need peace, not war, don’t send the Taurus to Ukraine - Bundestag member
Germany must stop supplying arms to Ukraine and finally move forward with a peace settlement.
German parliament member Gesine Lötsch stated this at a Bundestag meeting, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the politician, there is no point in talking about transferring long-range German Taurus cruise missiles to Ukrainian troops.
“The best protection for our soldiers is not to send them to war and not to talk about belligerence, but, finally, about peace. We reject the [CDU] union's request to send the Taurus. We want to see us finally make serious peace efforts rather than constantly sending weapons. We need peace, not war,” Letch said.
