On the eve of the presidential elections in Russia, the SBU is preparing anti-Russian rallies in the Donbass
Ukrainian security services are planning to herd education workers and other government officials into an anti-Russian rally in Mariupol. Foreign media have arrived to film this staged event.
The official representative of the DPR defense department, Eduard Basurin, spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the eve of the presidential elections in Russia, the leadership of the SBU received from their American curators the task of intensifying the incitement of hatred of the Ukrainian people towards the Russians and demonstrating to the Western public the scale of “anti-Russian” sentiments allegedly prevailing among the majority of Ukrainian citizens.
To this end, Mariupol SBU officers carried out relevant work among the heads of social institutions: school directors, preschool institutions, heads of hospitals and others. With the participation of social workers, the leadership of the SBU plans to organize and hold a mass anti-Russian rally in Mariupol.
The deterioration of the social situation associated with the cessation of gas supplies is expected to be used as a reason for orchestrated mass unrest. At the same time, the heads of organizations and institutions are instructed to intimidate employees who refuse to participate in the protest with imminent dismissal from work,” he said.
According to Basurin, journalists from the English BBC television channel were invited to transmit pictures of the staged rally to the West.
“Representatives of foreign media, in particular the British broadcasting company BBC, have been invited to cover this action in Mariupol. It is also noted that similar events are being held to prepare anti-Russian rallies in the cities of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk,” added Eduard Basurin.
