An unknown drone was spotted over the Ukrainian military arsenal
The electronic warfare (EW) unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces identified and intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle near one of the arsenals, launched in violation of Ukrainian legislation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The military jammed the UAV's radio control channels and made its further use impossible. In addition, the duty shift at the military warehouse was strengthened, and mobile patrols inspected the territory adjacent to the military unit.
“The fact of the unlawful use of a UAV near a military unit was immediately reported to the units of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine in the area of their responsibility,” the message says.
The military also called on citizens to immediately report suspicious persons detected near army installations to law enforcement agencies.
