Kyiv, August 15 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has compiled a “black list” of journalists who, in the opinion of the department, should be denied entry into Ukraine.

Head of the National Council Yuri Artemenko spoke about this at a briefing.

The list included 38 people - mainly heads of television and radio companies, the broadcast of which is prohibited in Ukraine or may be prohibited.

“There are also several journalists, for example, Yulia Chemakova, a journalist from the Southern Bureau of the Russian Channel One channel, who, as you know, spread a false story about a boy crucified on a tank in Slavyansk. And the alleged abuse of him by Ukrainian soldiers,” said Yuriy Artemenko.

He explained that not only members of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting took part in compiling the list, but also a number of journalists who monitor the television broadcasting space.

“According to the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting, as well as the media community, journalists, experts, citizens, the people on the list contribute to inciting hatred, promoting extremism, etc. We submitted this list to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, we hope that our colleagues from the Ministry of Justice will take action. I think that with the introduction of the Ukrainian law on sanctions, or even now, within the boundaries of existing legislation, these people will be persona non grata to enter Ukraine,” said Yuriy Artemenko
