The commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ordered to organize and conduct a survey among personnel about their attitude towards negotiations with the LDPR.
This is reported on the website of the volunteer organization “Come Back Alive”.
“Commanders of military units should organize and conduct a study among personnel regarding the attitude of military personnel regarding possible negotiations with the DPR/LPR and until 16:00 on May 24.05.2019, XNUMX through the department of moral and psychological support. Analysis of the study of this issue and the possible consequences of this,” says the telegram, which was at the disposal of the volunteers.
According to the organization, the document was received today, and signed and entered into force on May 18, 2019.
On the foundation's Facebook page, in the comments to the post where this document was published, a discussion regarding the initiative ensued.
“Who agrees to sit in the trenches for another 20 years? Who wants to send their sons to die? A bad peace is better than war,” wrote Olga Dovganyuk.
“Vladimir Dovgalyuk, UN troops have not been deployed for 5 years, but now they will. Do you believe this yourself? – Valentina Ivanova objected. – Don’t you hear the rhetoric of Europe, there is no alternative to a peaceful settlement. Maybe we have the opportunity to resolve the issue by military means? Well, we have to be realistic."
