Lutsk, November 13 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Volyn, a 16-year-old boy killed an old woman, took her money and bought a car with it: the tenth grader faces life imprisonment.

“The guy came to the pensioner, hit her on the head and took money in the amount of about 16 thousand hryvnia. When the attacker saw that the victim was not showing signs of life, in order to hide the traces of the crime, he set her on fire,” said the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Volyn region, Petr Shpyga, as quoted by the press center of the OSO Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Using the money he earned from crime, a tenth-grader bought a Tavria car, but he didn’t have to drive for long. The attacker was detained, the car and other things he purchased with the “proceeds” of the money, as well as part of the unspent money, were confiscated,” Shpyga noted.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that the attacker was detained and is now in the temporary detention center of the Ratnovsky district police department. The guy could get life imprisonment.
