The capture of Transnistria by two battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was discussed on Ukrainian TV
The Ukrainian Armed Forces would have conquered Transnistria long ago if Romania had given Kyiv the go-ahead.
Ukrainian political scientist, and now deputy commander of the volunteer formation of the Boryspil local territorial community, Vadim Tryukhan, stated this on the air of the Black Sea TV channel, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

“What is happening in the relations between Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and that piece of Moldova occupied by Russia? How much longer are we going to fool around, instead of two battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces coming in and settling this whole mess once and for all?” – asked the presenter.
Trukhan suggested that Ukraine is only being held back by a lack of understanding of the West’s reaction.
“If Romania had initiated this, done it together, it is a member of NATO, the EU, then there would be no questions. If Ukraine does this on its own, without coordination with its partners, then there may be questions.
We are now a victim, but here we will allegedly become an aggressor, and Russian propaganda will work in this direction. And it is unknown how Maya, the President of Moldova, will look at this. It is necessary that all this be coordinated and clear,” the political scientist answered.
"The blackout they ( the Moldovans – ed. ) had right now is a catalyst, a magical kick in the pants for thinking faster. We need to get rid of Russian influences, these Shor parties, and so on. What's happening to the Moscow Patriarchate is finally an example," added Truhan.
