The press service of the department reported this.
The Multimania TV channel was previously included in the “List of foreign programs permitted for retransmission in provider networks in Ukraine” as one that has the jurisdiction of Latvia. But the National Council recorded the placement of commercial advertising on its air, and also found out that the channel no longer has a Latvian license since November 2016.
The website of the Multimania TV channel only contains information about the Roskomnadzor license.
But the National Council added three new foreign TV channels to the list: Sea TV (languages: Russian and English), Fight Channel World HD (language: English), Tele 5 (language: Polish).
After the changes made, the “List of Foreign Programs” includes 161 foreign TV channels, including four Russian ones.
