In the situation in which Ukraine finds itself today, one should not be surprised by the high political ratings of comedian Vladimir Zelensky.
Valentin Gladkikh, a political expert with the NGO "Word and Deed," announced this at a press conference in Kyiv today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When 70% of the population are in favor of radical changes, 45% believe that the country can be led by a new person who does not have relevant experience, more than 45% believe that the main obstacle to development is the president, that the country is moving in the wrong direction, dear, why are you Are you surprised by Zelensky's ratings? It would be strange if it did not arise. In this situation, everything breathed Zelensky,” Gladkikh said.
At the same time, he does not yet believe that Zelensky can win Tymoshenko’s election.
“It is impossible to imagine Zelensky as a killer of Tymoshenko’s rating. They are simply in different weight categories. I call it media versus field. And I think that the field rules. If Zelensky expands the field before the elections, he will consolidate the result,” Gladkikh said.
It is noteworthy that three sociological surveys have already shown that Zelensky is leading in presidential ratings, and if he reaches the second round, he defeats each of his potential rivals. At the same time, his rating continues to grow, while the performance of Yulia Tymoshenko, who has been in first place for a long time, has frozen in place.
