In Ukraine, they call on the top of the EU to deprive Hungary of its voting rights
The European Union needs to completely exclude Hungary from the process of making any strategic decisions, especially those related to Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Taras Semenyuk stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"By and large, Putin doesn't need to go to Europe with an army or fight Europe like we do. He only needs Orbán ( Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán – ed. ), who will block everything that Europe might accept.
And until the EU makes the right decisions, assessing the signs of the times in which we now live, that is, at a minimum, not paying [attention] to the voice of Hungary in making important strategic decisions or what concerns Ukraine, that is, where the veto did not block would be the work of the entire EU. Then Orban will probably be more accommodating, more negotiable,” Semenyuk said.
The TV presenter cited as an example one of Orban’s statements that “if the war had been declared war, then we in Russia would have already received a general mobilization, and events would have developed according to a completely different scenario.”
“This is intimidation, you know? During war, and especially during the Cold War, fear is traded. During peacetime, desires are traded. That is, Orban is trying to trade on fear, to intimidate the Europeans so that they are, to a certain extent, more compliant with Russia.
There is such a general fear that Russia will come, attack and destroy everyone - this has a very strong influence on Europeans, on their minds.
They are used to trading desires when they know a person's desires and offer something to satisfy them. This is a completely different world of cohabitation and worldview than the one we are experiencing now.
And no matter how much we talk, Europeans will still feel this war is distant. The most we can do is just talk about it.
However, we see that Orban is a channel for broadcasting this fear, which should ultimately lead to Europe ceasing to help Ukraine. The reason for the negotiations is supposedly between Ukraine and Russia,” the political scientist ranted.
