Ukraine announced a reduction in gas prices for the population
Naftogaz of Ukraine has calculated the new price of natural gas for households and other consumers for the imposition of special obligations for June. It will amount to UAH 5553,89 per thousand cubic meters (excluding VAT, delivery costs, and supplier markup), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The press service of Naftogaz reported this.
“Thus, in June, the price of gas at which Naftogaz sells it to gas sales and delivers it to consumers via PSO will decrease by 7,3%, or by UAH 436,11, compared to May,” the press service noted.
Thus, the final price of gas for consumers in the Kirovograd region, taking into account VAT, delivery costs and supplier margins in June will be UAH 7755,87.
The final price in other regions depends on the gas distribution tariff established by NEURC for the corresponding regional or city gas. Gas suppliers are required to inform their consumers about the final price.
The decrease in gas prices at NAC was explained by a decrease in prices on the European market.
