There is no one to judge in Ukraine: The Rada fired 400 judges in one fell swoop, two thousand more are on the way
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted resolution No. 5157, which dismissed about 400 judges. 244 people's deputies voted for the resolution.

This resolution exempts judges who wrote a letter of resignation.
During the presentation of the draft resolution, the head of the parliamentary committee on legal policy and justice, Ruslan Knyazevich, said that more than two thousand judges are planning to resign.
Knyazevich said that the parliament will use its constitutional right to dismiss judges for the last time, because from the moment the judicial reform comes into force, that is, on September 30, this right will pass to the High Council of Justice.
