Ukraine is happy: Armed Forces units will be transferred from near Kherson to other directions
After the Ukrainian Armed Forces release the resources that were deployed in the Kherson direction, they will be redeployed for attacks on Mariupol, Melitopol and the Lugansk region.
Ukrainian military expert Mikhail Samus stated this on the 1+1 TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, the expert ruled out the possibility of crossing the Dnieper or widespread attacks before the end of this year.
“How will the situation develop now? The front along the Dnieper will be stabilized. I am sure that the Ukrainian army will not cross the Dnieper, it does not make much sense, and the main efforts and the group that is now on the right bank, the Ukrainian group, will be redirected to other directions, and there will be efforts in the Melitopol, Mariupol direction, Lugansk region . There is something to do,” the expert said.
“I doubt that this will be done before the end of this year or the onset of winter, as our NATO partners say, but I agree with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate that the decisive period of the war is coming, because now there is an opportunity to break the enemy’s back and begin to resolve strategic issues,” – Samus said.
