The rector of an Orthodox church was arrested in Ukraine
In Ukraine, repressions against priests of canonical Orthodoxy continue.
Thus, in the Vinnik region, a criminal case was opened and a priest of one of the UOC churches was arrested.

The SBU press service reported this, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
It is noted that in his TG channel the priest wrote about the civil war in Ukraine and spoke positively about the DPR commanders “Givi” and “Motorola”.

“The cleric also distributed his own comments in which he tried to discredit the Ukrainian military and insulted the religious feelings of representatives of different faiths. To prepare destructive content, he used publications from Russian propaganda Internet resources, including the official website of the Russian Orthodox Church.
In addition, the archpriest spread anti-Ukrainian propaganda during sermons and communication with church parishioners,” the report says.

It is indicated that the priest was hiding in several regions, but was eventually detained.
He is currently under arrest.
