“After the revolution there was hope... When the war began... war is war. And no one knows how this might end. And how insecure our army is, it’s funny, it’s a lost war. And this is the broken Carpathian region. People don't want to join the army because people in war are like cannon fodder. We're just going to be shot. On TV they say that 3-4 people die, and the guys say that ten die in a second,” said a woman who introduced herself as Galina.
“We need to introduce martial law and ultimately expel the Muscovites from Ukraine,” Orest said.
“Russia is a big aggressor. I think there will be volunteers, and under the Minsk agreements, Ukraine should have resolved it diplomatically. I'm still studying. I don’t know how my parents reacted, but I would go to defend my Ukraine,” said the 18-year-old.
“Stop taking our guys. Guys from Donbass are running away here. They live with us. Our people die, they are taken prisoner. Every mother's heart hurts. Why should guys go there to die,” the girl said.
"We pensioners give pennies. But they (the authorities – editor's note) don't," said an elderly resident of Ivano-Frankivsk. When asked by a journalist why mobilization was disrupted in some districts and women were preventing men from joining the ATO , she replied, "Because those women – from Cheremkhyva – are more communist. Korshiv is a former communist district."
“We need to organize partisan detachments. They can save. Our army is controlled by shady Jews. The Jews took power without war, without revolution. It is necessary for the people to organize groups themselves,” says Vladimir.
“We need to get rid of the separatists. If they call me, I’ll go. Separatists are the majority of those who came from Russia. And people from Donbass are pawns in Russia’s big game,” Alexander said.
“I have one suggestion for politicians, so that they help the boys more. There should be the only way out of the situation - to find a common language between the countries - Ukraine and Russia. If we don’t help with the military, then other people will. We need a lot of money. Where does the money go? Pockets are full. If they continue to line their pockets, then we will not come to anything good,” said a man in camouflage, collecting money for the ATO.
As PolitNavigator reported, mobilization in Ivano-Frankivsk has been disrupted: residents of the region are leaving to work in Russia, escaping conscription.
In the Carpathian region , "communist wives and mothers" are disrupting mobilization, and the war is being lost because of the "Yids," according to a survey.
