This information was provided during a briefing by official representative of the DPR defense department Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
«According to information received from local residents in the territory controlled by Ukraine, Ukrainian punitive forces continue to remove weapons and ammunition from the combat zone for the purpose of their subsequent sale.
Thus, in the village of Selidovo, police officers detained a militant from the illegal nationalist formation “Ukrainian Volunteer Army” while trying to sell 4 units of AK-74, 400 rounds of ammunition and 6 units of RGD-5 grenades.
However, according to our information, no criminal case has been initiated and no investigative measures are being taken. This is due to the fear of revenge from uncontrolled gangs of nationalists against the leadership of the Selidovsky police department,” said Basurin.
