Dnepropetrovsk, September 09 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The commander of the “Dnepr” battalion, Yuriy Bereza, who headed the national defense headquarters of the governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, believes that due to the escape of the head of sector “D” General Petro Lytvyn, Ukrainian military personnel were surrounded in the ATO zone .

“General Litvin fled, throwing away all his weapons. It was he who allowed the enemy to capture Savur-Mogila, thereby exposing our rear. But he didn’t say anything to us, who were defending Ilovaisk. If we knew about this, the situation would be completely different. And what kind of general is he if he didn’t even know the map of military operations!” - Bereza said, as quoted by the Dnepropetrovsk Panorama publication.
According to the battalion commander, the first step is to dismiss the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff. And General Petro Lytvyn (brother of ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Lytvyn - editor's note) should be judged.
“If this doesn’t happen, we will impale them all,” Bereza said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian military personnel have repeatedly stated the lack of professionalism of the high command, as well as the fact that there are even fitness rooms and special security for generals, while there are not enough sleeping bags for ordinary soldiers.
In turn, Advisor to the President of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko asked not to criticize the generals, so as not to undermine the trust of military personnel in them.
