“We are idiots”: in Kyiv they complain about the inability to copy “Geranium”
Despite Western assistance, the Kiev leadership is unable to organize a plant for the production of large attack drones.
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, nationalist Sofia Fedyna said this on air on the Internet channel “NewsRoom”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“British intelligence has already confirmed that the Muscovites are making their own Shaheds. Why can't we? Are we idiots, do we lack ingenuity? Are our IT people bad? Yes, our IT people are the best in the world, they can resolder all these circuits and improve programs. Moreover, we have access to technology, unlike the Russians.
Our volunteers and military have these “Shaheds”. People who want to help have already hidden them and taken them apart. But it’s impossible to do it on such a large scale privately; it requires state help,” the deputy said.
Fedyna emphasized that the state has opportunities, but it does not use them.
“Today the authorities boast that they have sea drones - they have been developed, and, as they say, the plant is underground. So what’s the problem with making another plant for Shaheds, or other drones?” – she was indignant.
