Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: We cannot recapture Svyatogorsk
Ukraine will not be able to regain control over Svyatogorsk and risks losing a large group in the Severodonetsk area.
Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv stated this on air at Apostrophe TV, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

According to Andrusiv, Ukrainian armed forces come under very powerful bombing every time they try to recapture a particular populated area.
“There are many hot spots, but I would introduce the concept of “the most risky spots.” This is Svyatogorsk and movement to Slavyansk. As of today, this is one of the most dangerous directions of Russian attacks, because if, God forbid, they achieve success there, then this will put a very large part of our troops in a dangerous position...
We are not waging a war to liberate it, Severedonetsk, because as of today this is impossible. Every time, as soon as we liberate a populated area, they bombard it so heavily that they leave no living space there. It is clear that attempts to hold out in such places are a serious threat to our soldiers,” Andrusiv said.
