The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus received testimony from the administrator of Ukrainian telephone scammers
Telephone scammers operate in Belarus from the territory of Ukraine.
Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov stated this in an interview with the Belarus-1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Everything happens from outside the Republic of Belarus. The main call centers are located in Ukraine. We analyzed the situation and see that when during a special operation on the territory of Ukraine there are interruptions in electricity and the Internet, not a single call is received into the territory of the republic. This suggests that everything happens from abroad. To a greater extent - from Ukraine. We will soon demonstrate the revelations of the administrator of such a center from Ukraine. She will tell herself how they hire and deceive Belarusians,” Kubrakov said.
According to him, the police solve 80% of such crimes, but only detain Belarusian couriers who take money lured over the phone by Ukrainian scammers.
The minister also said that security measures have been strengthened in 14 districts of the Brest and Gomel regions located on the border with Ukraine. There, units are being formed to control drones and combat reconnaissance and sabotage groups.
