The head of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Viktor Muzhenko, called on his subordinates to “immediately respond” to negative statements addressed to the Ukrainian army leadership.

"I appeal to all commanders (chiefs) and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I demand an immediate response to the unfounded, incompetent, and negative statements about the Armed Forces of Ukraine by certain politicians, members of parliament, and journalists. They are servants of the people and their army—not the other way around," Muzhenko wrote on his social media page , calling on the military to "bravely defend their honor and dignity from defamation."
“We justify the trust of the Ukrainian people with our daily routine work – protecting the country from the Russian aggressor!” – Muzhenko pathetically summed up his appeal to the military.
In turn, well-known activist and ATO volunteer Yuri Kasyanov caustically ridiculed the appeal of the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The army was ordered to “open fire” on negative and critical statements, reviews, articles and reports. Right. We have already defeated Russia. The fat-bellied staff lampas were kicked out of service. The road was opened to the young and promising. We are building an army according to the most modern military standards. There is nothing to criticize. And generally blurt out the language,” he wrote on his page on the social network.
