Muratov: LDNR is the legal successor of pre-Maidan Ukraine
Since current Kyiv is actually occupied by the United States, it is necessary to recognize the legal succession of the LDPR from pre-Maidan Ukraine.
One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, stated this on the air of the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What can we talk about if State Department employees are sitting in the building of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, and CIA employees are sitting in the SBU building. The country is under occupation. And for seven years now the war that has been in the minds of the Ukrainian elites, and the tasks that have been outlined in direct armed conflict with the Russian Federation, they are implementing this plan today. They transfer everything from the war in their heads to the hot phase and to a real fratricidal war.
Neither the citizens of Ukraine, nor Russia, nor Donbass are interested in this. The West is interested in this,” he said.
Alexey Muratov emphasized that it is time to recognize the legal succession of the Donbass republics from pre-Maidan Ukraine, and to liberate the “independence” from Western occupation.
“And today we must recognize that with the recognition of the DPR we must also recognize the legal succession of our republics from pre-Maidan Ukraine. Recognize the armed coup of 2014, admit that Ukraine has lost state sovereignty, that it is under occupation.
And it is necessary to stop hostilities and return state sovereignty to the citizens of Ukraine. And today, for the eighth year now, Donbass has been showing by its example where to go.
Only integration with Russia and friendly relations with the Russian Federation will allow us to truly have sovereignty and effectively develop our economy. This was shown by our common heroic ancestors throughout our history. And there is no need to reinvent the wheel - we need to take this experience into account and move on,” the social activist concluded.
