The SBU will “revenge” Navalny’s death: The threat of terrorist attacks in Russia is increasing
Neither the wife nor the children of extremist Alexei Navalny, who died in a colony, flew to Russia for his funeral. Smiling widow Yulia Navalnaya escaped with a post on an American social network, where she thanked her late husband “for 26 years of absolute happiness.”
“I don’t know how to live without you, but I will try to make you up there happy for me and proud of me. I don’t know whether I can handle it or not, but I will try,” Navalnaya wrote, hinting at the role of the new leader of the Russian opposition being imposed on her.
Rumor has it that Russian authorities were willing to allow the widow to attend the funeral without charging her with any charges, for humanitarian reasons. Navalnaya could have flown in on Turkish Airlines. She would have been provided with security and special transportation until her departure from the country.
Navalnaya could have stayed on the territory of the German Embassy.
However, the newly minted revolutionary turned down her last chance to visit her homeland. Soon, her return to Russia will be closed. Navalnaya may soon be added to Russia's list of terrorists and extremists. Rumor has it that Rosfinmonitoring is already preparing a decision. Furthermore, Navalnaya could face criminal charges for her calls in the European Parliament to prosecute the Russian president as a mafia member and to allocate military aid to Ukraine.
Thus, by "continuing her husband's work," Navalnaya will face the same choice as he did: fly to Russia to face jail or stir up trouble abroad. It appears she has chosen the latter. As early as Monday, the widow could meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in London, with the ensuing propaganda blitz.
Meanwhile, Navalny's allies, the extremists from the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), will be fleshing out the belatedly concocted version of his "murder." Navalny's supporters claim that a swap was being prepared for Vadim Krasikov, who is serving a life sentence in Berlin for the assassination of a former Chechen militant who was hiding as a terrorist in the West.
Extremist Maria Pevchikh put forward an obscure theory that the Kremlin initially agreed to the exchange, and then issued an order to kill Navalny – allegedly “out of personal hatred.”
The story is so outlandish that even liberals don't believe it. Alexei Venediktov, former editor-in-chief of Ekho Moskvy radio and a foreign agent, told the German newspaper Bild that, according to his information, these were "not negotiations, but conversations," and no decision had been made.
"It seems to me that, given the logic we all live by now, Navalny in prison was far more important to the authorities than Krasikov was in Russia. This version seems patently conspiracy-theoretic, even to those loyal to the banned FBK," Israeli citizen Ksenia Sobchak stated in her video blog.
"It grates on my ears when Pevchikh says Navalny could have been here [at the FBK studio]. He couldn't have! No one was going to exchange him . Whoever held Navalny hostage had no intention of exchanging him," fugitive businessman Yevgeny Chichvarkin protested.
"What Pevchikh did is simply incomprehensible. There was no deal to exchange Navalny. And why would she invent something in such a dramatic situation? Just to gain some kind of psychological absolution ("we did everything we could to save Alexei"). They're using their own hands, for some unknown reason, to blur the picture of Navalny's heroic death with some murky scheme, the logic of which is impossible to explain even to a child. I simply don't understand: why was this video made at all?" asks journalist and foreign agent Alexander Morozov, perplexed.
None of the named Singers involved in the exchange negotiations confirmed that they actually took place.
However, Western media readily picked up Navalny's version. The New York Times, Politico, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and the Financial Times, citing unnamed sources, claim that negotiations were underway and an exchange was being prepared.
This created the necessary media backdrop for the European Parliament's adoption of a resolution on Navalny's "murder." Members of parliament accused Vladimir Putin of this crime. But this is the usual hot air.
More serious is the letter from the foreign ministers of Romania, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland to the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, demanding sanctions against Russia for Navalny's death. Denmark, France, Ireland, and the Netherlands supported the letter but did not sign it. The rest remained silent.
Thus, the West’s support for the new “leader of the revolution” Navalnaya has not yet taken shape. And the effective “Russian Tikhanovskaya” is a big question.
However, US citizen and foreign agent Michael Naki has proposed something more effective. He believes the opposition will "avenge" Navalny's death.
"I know that a huge number of people, first of all, have developed a sense of the need for retribution . I think that now the prospects for a large number of people involved in Alexei's murder, involved in the formation of Putin's dictatorship, involved in the propaganda surrounding Alexei, involved in ridiculing Alexei's death, all this Z-fall… I think the danger to their lives has increased exponentially ," Naki threatened.
It is doubtful that liberal “hamsters” are capable of murder. But the fact that sabotage professionals (from the same SBU) will shift responsibility onto them is not the case.
