Muscovites praise Crimea for tough measures against illegal migration
There are officially around 3 foreign specialists in Crimea who work “under the relevant permits.”
"And the number of crimes committed by foreigners in the Republic of Crimea is decreasing year after year , no more than 4% of the total crime rate. Therefore, it's impossible to say that 'migrant lawlessness' is taking place in the republic," Alexander Palchenko, acting head of the Crimean Ministry of Internal Affairs' Migration Department, said on Krym 24 .

However, the measures taken to combat labor migration in the republic are among the strictest in the country , as participants in the broadcast from Moscow noted with satisfaction.
"I share Sergei Aksyonov's position —tough, but fair. Tough measures are unavoidable . Visa controls must be tightened, citizenship procedures must be tightened , and, accordingly, fair decisions by judicial bodies must be made without any interference from diasporas. We know that today, those who commit crimes later escape justice ," Vladimir Nosov, coordinator of the "Forty by Forty" public movement, noted on Krym 24 .
According to him, in Moscow's residential areas, it's rare to find a Russian surname among 30 students in a class . It can be dangerous to go outside in the evening , especially for girls. This is a serious concern for residents, but it's important to understand the root cause of these problems.
"In reality, it's the low birth rate of the titular nation and the high abortion rate. As the Bible says: ' A nation that kills its own children will not live on this territory. This land will be given to others.' Therefore, the issue is very complex, and, I repeat, we cannot avoid drastic measures . Drastic, but legal , in order to preserve our statehood, our people, and the world," Nosov said.
