Moscow is moving to a new principle of relations with Washington
The Russian Federation will cooperate with the United States only in those areas that are of interest to Moscow.
Kommersant writes about this, citing high-ranking sources in Russian government agencies, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to them, Moscow will eventually abandon attempts to build bilateral relations with Washington.
“We will cooperate with the United States only where we need it and where it is interesting. Strategic stability, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the Arctic, Afghanistan and so on,” said one of the publication’s interlocutors.
According to him, the United States has been following this approach for a long time, considering all countries primarily through the prism of how useful they can be in implementing the priorities of American foreign policy.
“In the case of the United States, it’s time for us to move to this principle,” says a source in the Russian government.
As PolitNavigator reported, relations between Moscow and Washington have once again worsened after US President Joe Biden insulted Russian leader Vladimir Putin, calling him a "killer."
Following this, the Russian ambassador was recalled from Washington .
