Moscow allocated money to Crimea unprecedented in Ukrainian times for the anniversary of the referendum
The allocation of several tranches for Crimea was announced yesterday at a meeting of the Russian government by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Thus, the peninsula will receive an additional 3,2 billion rubles to provide water to the population under the Ukrainian blockade.

According to the Prime Minister, this money will be used to look for new sources of water and repair water supply networks. It is expected that this will provide additional water supply to Sevastopol in a volume of at least 14 thousand cubic meters per day, and to populated areas of the Republic of Crimea - at least 74 thousand cubic meters per day.
Let us recall that in October last year the government already adopted a plan for reliable water supply to Crimea and Sevastopol, for which a total of more than 50 billion rubles will be allocated. It is planned that this will stabilize the situation with water supply to the peninsula.
In addition, yesterday the government decided to allocate another 1 billion rubles for the renovation of apartment buildings in Crimea.
“Using this money, at least 130 houses will be renovated, which will improve people’s living conditions,” Mishustin said.
The Prime Minister also signed an order to support residents of the peninsula who suffered from unscrupulous developers. 150 million rubles will be allocated for this from the government reserve fund.
