“I am very glad that both Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk, who is from Chernivtsi, know our language. To my congratulations on his victory in the elections, Poroshenko replied: “noroc şi voie bună!”, Iurie Leanca said on the air of one of the programs on the public television channel.
The Prime Minister emphasized that relations between Moldova and Ukraine have noticeably improved compared to November 2013, and the dialogue between representatives of the two countries has become more productive. In his opinion, at present this connection is due to the pursuit of common goals.
“Ukraine is a regional power. Developments in this country will directly affect the entire region as a whole. Based on the results of conversations with Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk, I got the impression that we speak the same language, use the same concepts and, most importantly, strive for the same goals,” Leanca explained, as quoted by the portal noi.md .
