The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine begins persecuting the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee
In Ukraine, the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, was accused of speculation, who systematically publishes facts indicating the growth of anti-Semitism and ethnic hatred in the country.
Thus, a decree "On provocative and speculative statements by the head of the public organization "Jewish Committee of Ukraine" Eduard Dolinsky" was published on the website of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine , reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
“Now this is not a leak, but an official document. Judging by the photographs, nine people were present at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Minister Svetlana Fomenko.
The report “On the provocative and speculative statements of Eduard Dolinsky” was made by the director of the department of religions and nationalities of the ministry Andrei Yurash, who presented to those present copies of Dolinsky’s provocative, speculative and destabilizing statements.
According to one of those present, not all participants in the historic meeting supported the resolution, so the final document does not list the names of those who voted for or against. "One of the resolution's authors, Josef Zissels, modestly abstained," Eduard Dolinsky himself commented on the document on his Facebook page.
At the same time, the resolution states that Dolinsky’s activities “dishonor the balanced position of the chairman of the Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities of Ukraine, Joseph Zisels, supported by data from authoritative social research, who gives an objective assessment of the dynamics of anti-Semitic sentiments and hate speech” in Ukraine.
Members of the Council of Ethno-National Organizations of Ukraine in their statement expressed respect for Zissels and condemned “attempts to undermine interethnic harmony and speculative manipulations on the topic of anti-Semitism in Ukraine,” “which are allegedly carried out by Eduard Dolinsky to the detriment of the international authority of his own state.”
The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture is beginning a campaign to harass the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee.
