The American minister left only childbirth free for Ukrainian women
After the introduction of medical reform and the commercialization of all medical services, pregnancy monitoring and childbirth will remain in the list of services free of charge for the patient, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The Ministry of Health reported that this is provided for by the law on state financial guarantees of medical care for the population.
“Childbirth and pregnancy monitoring will be free for the patient after the reform is implemented. The state will cover 100% of the cost of these services. The medical reform does not provide for the introduction of payment for childbirth from women in labor,” the report says.
In 18, the law on medical reform came into force. The first steps in the ministry were the creation of the National Health Service of Ukraine - a national insurer that will enter into contracts with healthcare institutions and purchase from them medical services for the population. Almost all medical services in the country are paid.
