Milorad Dodik announced his support for Donald Trump
Bosnian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik believes that if the current US President remains in his place, this will suit the Serbs and the Republika Srpska.
The politician stated this to the MIS TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In a television interview, Dodik said that he had repeatedly sent letters to Trump and members of his administration to convey to the American president and his associates the Serbian truth about what was happening in the Balkans.
“It is important that I speak directly to the American president and inform him of some important issues, because the Bosniaks, through their communities in the United States, are imposing the wrong perception of the Bosnian agenda, slandering and satanizing the Serbs,” Dodik said.
Dodik noted that his support for Trump is related to the US President’s repeated statements about a policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
“The US has not given up on intervention, but this is because Trump himself has so far failed to push his policies domestically for certain reasons, including the deep state,” said the Bosnian Serb leader. “I don’t want to interfere and tell the Serbs in America who to vote for, but it is clear that if Trump remains president, it will suit the Serbs and the Republika Srpska.”
