Kyiv, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – In order for good neighborly relations to be resumed between Russia and Ukraine, these countries do not need anyone’s mediation. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman stated this on the air of the “Israel in a Week” program.

According to him, all that is needed is the desire of both sides to negotiate.
“We have excellent relations with both Moscow and Kiev. I personally have a lot of friends both there and there. This all looks strange to me. I do not believe that Kyiv and Moscow need mediators. They have a lot of experience in relationships - they don’t need translators or intermediaries,” Lieberman noted.
