Medvedev spoke about the crushing blow of the Russian Federation on the property rights of the West
The final point in Russia’s successful resistance to Western sanctions will be the Russian Federation’s refusal to recognize intellectual property rights.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wrote about this today on his Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“All that remains is to adopt rules on the use of their intellectual property. Without any licenses or royalties. These, among other things, will be our retaliatory sanctions against their property rights. For everything: from movies to industrial software. Thanks, by the way, to those who have developed various programs for the license-free use of their expensive intellectual products. In short, for pirate use in personal sanctions mode. And what, à la guerre comme à la guerre..." Medvedev wrote.
This initiative was received very negatively by State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergei Obukhov.

His former colleague from United Russia, Vyacheslav Lysakov, on the contrary, supported Medvedev.

Stop flirting with the fragments of the West, stuck in the Russian market, in the hope of the return of the “Danaans who bring gifts.” These “gifts” backfire and we need to take what we need ourselves, removing customs and other obstacles in the way of domestic independent importers,” Lysakov wrote.
Military expert Boris Rozhin agrees with him.
“Western forms of copyright were created and exist to consolidate Western scientific, technological and cultural superiority. By accepting them, Russia actually agreed to depend on the West. And this dependence on the West has not yet been overcome, although there are already positive progress. It remains to wait for real action in this direction in practice,” he believes.
