Medvedchuk gouged Vilkul for bending under the Americans
Ukrainian presidential candidate Alexander Vilkul, whom many consider to be a representative of the southeast of the country, in fact is not one, and if he wins, he will “bend” to the West just as the current government did.
Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There are certain people who are associated, but I emphasize that they are only associated, but they have nothing in common with the south-eastern electorate. It was Messrs. Muraev and Vilkul, now only Vilkul remains, since Muraev withdrew in his favor. I want to say that it is a misconception to consider Mr. Vilkul a representative of the southeast. And the fact that he worked and lived in Dnepropetrovsk for certain years of his life does not mean that he is a representative of those people who live today in the southeast of Ukraine.
If we talk about his plan for peace, he believes that this peace can only be brought to Ukraine by the United States, which must come to an agreement or force the Russian Federation to implement this peace. Or to say that he is going to do this outside the interests or outside the participation of representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk, then we can immediately attribute him to those candidates who do not want peace and are bluffing on the sentiments of citizens in order to receive dividends through the trust of people in these elections .
Today Mr. Vilkul has nothing in common with the electorate of the southeast. Moreover, Mr. Vilkul, I want to remind you, was a member of Mr. Yanukovych’s team, working as the governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, deputy prime minister, and defended this European integration and NATO frenzy, which was then erupted by the authorities and Yanukovych’s team, where they went without alternative, and then for some reason stopped in '13. As a result, you remember how it ended for Ukraine,” Medvedchuk said.
