It is quite possible that the discussion started by French President Emmanuel Macron about allowing the entry of troops into the territory of Ukraine implies preparations for the expansion of the contingent of some NATO countries into Moldova.
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who serves the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on the “News Live” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Some commentators are a bit conspiratorial – but who knows? Now we are talking about the fact that NATO troops may appear in Ukraine, or maybe they will appear in Moldova. There, Romania, together with France, in order to neutralize the risks to Moldova from Russia and Transnistria, can deploy some kind of their own military contingent there.
