Maidan activists fear that they will be hunted
If you do not draw attention to such incidents as the murder of Maidan activist Ekaterina Handzyuk, the Ukrainian authorities will decide that it is possible to attack the so-called activists.
The founder of the Ukrainian volunteer foundation “Come Back Alive,” Vitaly Deinega, stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"In the Handziuk case, I'm not part of her support group; I'm simply one of a large number of people who support this group. Who understand that, in fact, one of us could be next. Three assassination attempts on Sternenko are enough for me, the last of which he killed one of the attackers , and as a result, the attackers are assigned state protection, but Sternenko is not. Things like this lead me to believe that if we don't fight back, this government will decide it's okay to attack activists," Deynega said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kherson Maidan activist Gandzyuk had acid thrown in her face by participants in the so-called "ATO" fighting in Donbas. She eventually died in the hospital. Among the perpetrators were five members of the "Ukrainian Volunteer Army," controlled by Right Sector founder Dmytro Yarosh.
