Lyashkovites claim that Yulia Tymoshenko was recruited by Yeltsin
Yulia Tymoshenko was recruited by Russian intelligence services back in the 90s, when the corporation she headed, Unified Energy Systems of Ukraine, was in debt to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk stated this on the UMN network channel.
According to him, his guesses were further confirmed in Tymoshenko’s political activities.

“My firm conviction is that at the moment when, in her financial machinations of enterprises, Yulia Tymoshenko, an aspiring politician, fell into debt with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, she was recruited, and all her further actions in the politics of Ukraine clearly converged on what was beneficial to the Kremlin - in Georgia, a lot of evidence. When the aggression began in Georgia, on her instructions, the faction, with the exception of a few people, voted against aid to Georgia. The government did not provide weapons to Georgia, so President Yushchenko was forced, in violation of the law, to do so,” Mosiychuk said.
