“The Maidan dispersed from the squares of central cities, but was active. However, after the death of 49 of our guys, we decided to gather to hold a memorial service and a veche. More than a thousand people came to this event, which amazed us - after all, recently people have hardly gathered together,” said Roman Brezytsky, co-organizer of the Lviv Euromaidan, as quoted by the ZiK publication.
According to the initiators, they decided to resume Euromaidan in Lviv in the format of a prayer and information platform. The organizers said they would report “the latest news, as well as inform about the need for certain resources.”
As Navigator reported, the day before, pro-Ukrainian activists picketed the Consulate General of the Russian Federation and demanded that the city authorities terminate the lease agreement for premises with diplomats.
