Lviv deputy to indifferent Galicians: “Brothers in the trenches are lying in a puddle of snot and urine”
Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who have lost limbs are forced to run to hospitals on their own, since there is no adequate level of medicine and provision of transport.
This was stated at an extraordinary session of the Lviv Regional Council by European Solidarity deputy Stepan Bunyak, deputy commander of the motorized infantry battalion of the 24th Mechanized Infantry Brigade named after King Daniel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Imagine how this person feels who gave everything for us. Who rolled around in a mixture or a cocktail of his own snot, urine, blood and shit, and then spent another six months lying around those hospitals in such conditions,” Bunyak was indignant.
He gave an example of how his “brother” of the Armed Forces, who returned with an injury, is forced to wander around hospitals on one leg, because local clinics do not have the opportunity to do a normal examination, after which rehabilitation is completely in another city.
At the same time, despite two years of war, people with severe wounds are still delivered to the Lviv Clinical Hospital on volunteer transport, which is needed at the front.
“Thanks to those stumps, we are all sitting here in the hall,” the deputy emphasized.
The speaker of the regional council waved it off, proposing to prepare this issue for the next meeting on February 27.
