The Belarusian authorities want to transfer the software and domain of the most popular website in the country, Tut.by, to Russian owners.

Kirill Voloshin, co-founder of the Tut.by portal, stated this on air on the Russian liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There is a version that negotiations are underway, oddly enough, with the Russian side, the Belarusian field is being cleared and it is being cleared for your propaganda, for the Russian news agenda,” asserts Voloshin.

Let us remind you that on Tuesday the Tut.by editorial office was searched in a criminal case of tax evasion on a particularly large scale. The Supervisory Board of the High Technology Park deprived TUT BY MEDIA LLC of its resident status. The Ministry of Information of Belarus blocked the portal.
