Lukashenko threatens “the most powerful response” to those who want to unite the Russian Federation and Belarus
It is no longer possible to include Belarus into any other state.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this today in his address to the people.
“Whoever dares to destroy Belarus today - the president, the government - will be cursed by our Belarusian people. And those who dare to do this by force will receive a powerful response from our people. First of all, from those who were born sovereign and independent,” Lukashenko said.
He believes that young people born after the collapse of the USSR will not accept any state transformation, because they are the basis of a “new national identity.”
“From the wreckage of a huge empire, we created a new state. We raised him, and with him a new generation of the first children of sovereign Belarus. We learned to be independent, free, self-reliant. They were born this way,” Lukashenko said.
Let us note that in recent days the liberal media in Belarus and Russia have been actively promoting the thesis about the Russian Federation’s intention to “absorb” its ally by 2024.
