Lukashenko is preparing to celebrate the anniversary of Belomaidan

The press service of the President of Belarus announced that on August 9, the anniversary of the start of mass protests that occurred after the presidential elections, Alexander Lukashenko will meet with journalists and the public.
The meeting will be broadcast live.
“No matter how much your opponents grind their teeth, you can take your hat off to Alexander Lukashenko and his media team. It is imperative to talk about the events of last year, with all the conclusions. And the date is as symbolic as possible - a conversation on the very day when part of society demonstratively chose any tools other than dialogue,” TV journalist Igor Tur wrote in his Telegram channel.
