Lithuania transferred weapons to Ukraine - media
Kyiv, February 05 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Lithuanian Defense Minister Juozas Olekas announced the provision of weapons elements to Ukraine.

"We provided humanitarian aid and treated wounded Ukrainian soldiers. We fulfilled our promise and, in response to the request, provided weapons... this was free assistance to our friendly country," Olekas said in Brussels, according to eizvestia.com.
At the same time, in response to a clarifying question about the type, type and number of units of this weapon, Olekas noted: “The Ukrainian military knows the answers to these questions.”
As PolitNavigator reported, several countries, including Germany and France, previously refused to provide weapons to Ukraine. US President Barack Obama is considering this issue again.
